InstalTest COMBO

The InstalTest range are Australia's first multifunction installation testers with measurement functions and Pass/Fail limits set to AS/NZS3000 Wiring Rules and AS/NZS3017 Electrical Installations.

The InstalTest COMBO is a manual multi-function and installation tester, and introduces the new single button "Socket Test" without the need for trailing leads. 

The InstalTest 3017 is a logging tester with Pass/Fail limits preset to AS/NZS3017 and stores test results for printing installation verification and compliance test reports.

The InstalTest COMBO combines the functions of 5 instruments with 12 tests in the one instrument:

  • Voltage, Frequency & Phase Sequence

  • Earth Resistance & Equipotential Bonding

  • Insulation Resistance

  • RCD Trip Time and Trip Current

  • Fault Loop/Line Impedance/PSC

  • RCD Testing

  • Socket Test - Earth Resistance, Correct Connections and Polarity as a single push button test without the need for trailing leads.

This short training module shows electricians how to test sockets in seconds without cumbersome trailing leads using the Instaltest Combo.

The InstalTest Combo simplifies socket compliance testing from 4 tests to a single push button test.



The InstalTest 3017 covers AS/NZS3017 Electrical Installations tests with in-built Australian Pass/Fail limits and tables for:

  • Earth Continuity & Resistance

  • Insulation Resistance

  • Polarity

  • Correct Circuit Connections

  • Fault Loop Impedance

  • RCD Testing

Simply conduct the test, press the MEMory button to save the result and assign the result to a location, e.g. DB1/CB1 or 1st Floor/Room 5. Then download results to PC software and print-out compliance test reports with actual test results.

The InstalTest's unique "Auto-Sequence Test" mode further speeds up compliance testing and reporting. For example, the "Socket Outlet Rapid" auto-sequence tests sockets in seconds, reducing the time taken to test hundreds of newly installed socket outlets to hours rather than the customary several days using traditional testing and reporting methods.
